Summary: We spend a lovely holiday in a great environment. Despite our basic knowledge of French the communication worked very well. Our landlords gave us a wonderful welcome. We will definitely go there again.

Summary: The house in Berigny was not the usual gite— it is a real home that Viviane and Yves Marie were kind enough to leave for us. It has everything and more that you might want. We highly recommend it.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very cosy and just as we imagined it. The ambience of the cottage reflected that it was our host's own home, rather than just a property they were renting out. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly.

Summary: A great location from which to visit the Normandy battlefields. In the countryside, very quiet and clean. Owners were very helpful at check in. Convenient bedroom and bath downstairs for elderly visitors.

Summary: If you are looking for a sterile hotel this is not the place. If you are looking for the feeling of being in the home of a lovely French couple, filled with art, books, (even though they were in French) and music, this is the place for you. Using this comfortable home as a base, you can see as much of Normandie as you like. There are markets with every type of produce, landmarks and restaurants a short drive away. Viviane and Yeves-Marie made as feel like friends not paying guests. We would go again!

Summary: Although a beautiful house in wonderful surroundings, the house inside of the house was dirty. We spent the first week of our holiday cleaning the kitchen. Eye level shelves ,covered in junk shop findings were encrusted with cooking fat to which dust had adhered. An open fire place, level with the work tops was hanging with dust, cobwebs and soot. In order to find what we needed, all the cupboards had to be turned out, organised and the contents washed before we could use them. The rest of the house was dusty and the deep window sills covered with dead flies. There was no internet connection and no attempt was made to restore it. The owner never made an appearance after seeing us on arrival. I think we need a holiday!

Summary: Ideal for a family of 6. Quiet location. Had all amenities required apart from towels so need to ensure you take your own. Well equipped with games, music, tv’s. Crepes and cider in fridge on arrival excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: Visitors who are looking for a quiet getaway in the midst of the countryside, fabulous lanes and woods for walks will not be disappointed. Eddy the dog who was welcome in the cottage could never have enough of these walks. The friendly owners welcomed us to the cottage and showed us around. Their conversation was in French, but there was a folder in English to fall back on. In the sitting room there was the most wonderful open fire and the owners supplied huge amounts of logs to feed it with. The electric heating kept the other rooms warm and the hot water never ran out. St Lo was 15 minutes by car and had a variety of supermarkets. Bayeux of tapestry fame was 20 minutes away and well worth a visit. The cottage was filled with the owners collections of cars, baskets, books and pictures, which made it look like a home and not just a rented cottage. This review is for a winter stay and we would love to come back and see it in summer.

Summary: In the country 22Kms from Bayeaux 11 Klms from St-Lo is a very welcoming and comfortable house in it's own grounds. Every thing you needs is there, our Austrailian cousins were impressed with the house and location. day trips to all the beaches approximatly one hour away, Sant malo 90 mins. le Mont st- Michale 1 hour, there are many more places to visit, House - Berigny makes all the visits easy to get to because of its Location. Many thank yous to the Family especially Rphael who met us and explained the House. C.W King Bolton Lancashire.

Summary: We had a splendid stay in this large house. We enjoyed breakfast and supper in the garden whilst soaking up the birdsong and watching the local cattle. The house is comfortable and has everything that you need, and it is very spacious. We enjoyed Bayeux, Aronmache and a fabulous local chateux.
